THE OBJECTIVES

Raise the profile of and engagement with the Nike+ Training Club App locally by leveraging New Zealand’s golden girl, Valerie Adam’s road to the Olympic finals, amplifying through social platforms and via media partnerships.

 

THE IDEA

During the lead up and throughout the Olympics Nike ran a global campaign called UNLIMITED POTENTIAL. This was a challenge to both elite athletes on the global stage as well as the everyday athlete’s in their local training grounds to unleash their own unlimited potential. We invited athletesand media to go on a four-week journey with Val to achieve a goal of their own. Athletes completed their 4 week journey by attending weekly Saturday NTC training sessionsand documenting their experience of the journey though their social media and media platforms, engaging readers and encouraging them to complete the 4 week journey for themselves.

 

THE RESULTS
C+Co negotiated a highly successful media partnership with Miss FQ and engaged media andNike athletes to take part in the journey delivering extensive media and social coverage and driving an uplift in usage of the Nike+ Training Club app.
